A clear plan for your technology
Know where your IT stands, what it will cost and what to do next. Start with a technology review.
Does this sound familiar?
IT spending is reactive. Something breaks, and you buy a fix.
The business has grown, but the IT hasn’t kept up.
You’re not sure what’s secure, what’s backed up or what’s out of date.
Hardware, licences or servers are due for renewal and there’s no plan.
Clients or insurers are asking about your security.
You want to use AI, but don’t know where to start.
What a technology review involves
A conversation
We learn how your business runs, where it’s heading and what’s getting in the way.
A health check
We look at your network, devices, Microsoft 365, security, backup and support.
Report
What’s working, what’s risky and what to do, in priority order with indicative costs.
Walkthrough
We talk it through in plain, easy to understand terms, with no obligation to go further.
What you get
A plain-English report, with no jargon
A prioritised roadmap: do now, next 6 months, next 12-24 months
Budget estimates, so upgrades aren’t a surprise
A summary of security and backup risks
Honest recommendations, whether or not you choose to work with us
Who benefits the most from our technology review?
Owners, directors and operations managers of growing businesses, typically 10-50 staff, who rely on IT but don’t have a technology lead. If you have an in-house IT person, we work alongside them with our co-managed IT service
Why Blue Spot?
Engineers, not salespeople. The people reviewing your setup are the people who’d support it.
Plain English. You’ll know what each recommendation means and why.
Independent advice. We recommend what fits your business, not what’s easiest to sell.
A track record of planning for growth. We’ve helped customers of all sizes, throughout Cheshire, Manchester and the surrounding areas to grow their business through technology.
Frequently asked questions
-
Does it cost anything?
Your first conversation is free. It’s a no-obligation phone call where we learn about your business and tell you honestly whether an audit would help. If you go ahead, the full IT strategy audit is calculated based on the size of your business, starting from £500 + VAT. We’ll confirm the price before we start.
-
What’s the difference between the free call and the audit?
The call is about understanding your situation and priorities. The audit is a hands-on review of your network, devices, Microsoft 365, security, backup and support, finishing with a written report and roadmap.
-
How is the audit priced?
It depends on the number of users, sites and systems involved. We agree a fixed price after the first call, so there are no surprises.
-
Will you try to sell me things?
You’ll get clear recommendations, not a hard sell. We aren't really 'sales-y' people, just believe in providing the right solutions to help your business grow. You decide what, if anything, to go ahead with.
-
What happens after the audit?
We talk you through the report and roadmap. You can act on it yourself, take it to another provider, or ask us to help. It’s your choice.
-
Do I need to be an existing client?
No.
-
How is this different from ongoing support?
Support keeps things running today. Planning decides what you’ll need over the next year or two.
